Services & Fees
A clear overview of what we do, what it costs, and how it works.

I offer individual psychotherapy for adults. Sessions are open-ended and exploratory. We don't follow a protocol or work through a workbook. The focus is on understanding what's underneath: patterns, history, relationships, and whatever you bring into the room each week.
Most clients begin with weekly 50-minute sessions. That rhythm tends to support the kind of continuity the work needs. Extended sessions are available when more time feels right.
I see clients in person in Vienna, Virginia and via telehealth for residents anywhere in Virginia.

Payment is due at the time of service. A card is stored securely on file.
Woods Psychotherapy is a private-pay, out-of-network practice. I don't bill insurance directly, but I provide monthly superbills you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits.
If you'd like to check your coverage before we begin, it helps to ask your insurer: do I have out-of-network benefits for individual psychotherapy (CPT codes 90791, 90834, 90837)? What percentage is reimbursed after my deductible? How do I submit superbills?
-
Cancellation: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are billed at the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate: In accordance with the No Surprises Act, a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges is available at or before scheduling.
